Dallas Stars Playoff Game

This is just a quick post with some photos taken with my phone.

My BFF and I went to the first home game of the playoffs for the Dallas Stars on Monday night.  At that time they were down 2-0 in the best of 7 game series against the top-seeded Anaheim Ducks, so we were hoping for a turning of the tides.

We were not disappointed.

The arena was absolutely electric, and the Stars beat the Ducks 3-0!

Allen Americans Ice Hockey

I love ice hockey.  I’ve played the sport for over 13 years, and of course I enjoy watching the pro teams play too.

The Allen Americans are part of the Central Hockey League, which is two levels below the NHL.  Their home arena is the Allen Event Center. If you’ve never been to a professional hockey game before but wanted to check it out, the Allen Americans are a fun and affordable way to do so.  Tickets aren’t as expensive as going to a Dallas Stars game, and the arena isn’t as large as the American Airlines Center.  You can buy tickets online at Ticketmaster.
